Character Basics

Name: Harrowhark Nonagesimus, Reverend Daughter of Drearburh, Heir to the Ninth.

Age:17-18

Appearance: Small and slight, with a narrow face with angular features. She dresses in all-black, generally covering as much skin as possible, including a veil if she can manage it. Her hair is short but slightly grown out into a slightly unkempt shaggy crop; she cuts it herself frequently.

Identifying Marks: Harrow's eyes are a true black, and she is most often seen in the black and white skull markings that Locked Tomb postulants wear as face paint.

Mental State: Harrow has a mess of overlapping trauma and mental illness in addition to being occasionally literally haunted. She keeps a lot of it locked down tightly enough that no one gets to know what's going on in there, but mind-readers might be able to pick up on parts of it, in which case let's talk. If you have any specific mental health triggers please let me know.

Relationship Status: COMPLICATED.

Canon: The Locked Tomb by Tamsyn Muir

Canon Point: Generally near the end of Gideon the Ninth, but can also be played post-Harrow the Ninth selectively.

CWs: Subjects and themes that may come up during play: death, child death, child abuse/neglect, suicide, genocide, mental illness*, religious fanaticism, serious injury, and potentially gory descriptions of necromancy. Also you know, commanding the dead in ways that are not entirely respectful.

She's an extremely traumatized necromancer from a dark canon; if this doesn't sound like your bag feel free to opt out of any of these topics or out of playing with her entirely. I can try to write around any topics you'd like to avoid, but she's a minefield and even those things she'd never discuss with a stranger may turn up in the narration.

* Authorial intent is that she has a specific diagnosis that causes her to have hallucinations, and that she is haunted. I will not be leaning in especially hard to the diagnosis part because neither Harrow nor I know which of her visions are real and which are the product of her mind alone, and because I do not feel as though I am qualified to describe specific medical diagnoses in more detail than canon hints at.
